Great article - and yes they teach the gurus to specialize and niche so that they can provide cookie cutter solutions to people. AI makes it all more obvious - but the game has been the same for a while. But.. that's *good* for you and the rest of us who provide custom solutions for clients that help them to truly own their unique value proposition. The thing I love about the online world is there are perfect clients out there for everyone. What I love about marketing is helping to connect people to others who can solve their problems...
I would disagree…. IF you train your AI friend well.... they absolutely can write like you and speak like you…. And pull out your thoughts and ideas that make you stand out……
Cause what I've learned after years of being in this space is that there's no ONE way to do this whole entrepreneurship thing... marketing included…..
What I now know for sure (like you mentioned above) is that trying to fit ourselves into someone else's business model is like trying to wear shoes that are two sizes too small!!
As weird as it sounds... the more I struggled with "traditional" marketing approaches, the more I realized.... BAM.... that wasn't my path at all! You see, I'm definitely not designed to follow the crowd (Hello fellow pathfinders❤️).
What I love that you highlighted here here is what we really need as wellness practitioners is to understand that our journey... our UNIQUE journey... isn't about copying what worked for others. It's about awakening to our own truth and letting THAT guide us.... especially when marketing our business.
And that my friends, is what true alignment looks like!
(Most of the above was written with my AI friend, if one went to my website and read my old blogs before AI…. They’ll see the writing style matches…. I ramble on about multiple things at once… (editing each piece and organizing my thoughts for particular marketing pieces was a bitch to do) …. Now I dump all my writing into my Imaginarium Sourcebook and then ask it to put together a post for me, in my tone and style!)
If it's working for you Cori, that's great! Keep it up!
I've tried training AI to write like me. But it was taking too long. Besides, I'm a WRITER. So I LIKE to write!
When I'm writing marketing assets, either for myself or a client, WHAT I say (the idea) is more important than HOW I say it (the writing).
(Though as a professional copywriter, I make sure both of them are dialed in.)
AI doesn't come up with unique ideas because it's trained with what's already out there.
What I've found is that a professional writer, or at least a good writer, can see what needs editing from AI's output and get it to sound good. But a lot of people who aren't comfortable writing use it and they don't recognize why it's not good. Or they don't know how to change it. They just assume it must be good because it was made with AI.
I use AI for a lot of things. But writing my copy (or my clients' copy) isn't one of them.

This is a fascinating comparison to make. Love learning about cheese!
